when did EMMA'S life as a photographer begin?
Whilst my love for taking photos began around the age of 10, my career took off when I was 15. Over the following 10+ years I sharpened my skills by delving into different centres of the industry: live music and festivals, international tourism, fashion, commercial, real estate and events to name a few. Yet I always found myself drawn back to photographing people, connection and real-moments in time. The exact photographs that grow into nostalgic memories.
My diversity of experience has equipped me with a high level of adaptability to all the challenges of photography. Live music taught me how to maneuver poor lighting and tune into perfecting skin tones, tourism work developed my eye for composing breathtaking landscapes and festivals taught me to predict fleeting moments and capture spectacular moments in a very short snippet of time. All of which I use in my documentation of weddings, couples and families daily.

With a background in Environmental Science, Ecology and Sustainability, it is in my deepest value to operate my business in a way that has a minimal footprint and positive impact on our earth.
For each wedding booked, a tree is planted locally in the Northern Rivers region through Reforest Now. Each tree in honour supports our global environment by offsetting carbon and rehabilitating destructed land. Our contribution is one step closer to restoring Australia’s critically endangered rainforests.
