BYRON BAY WEDDING VENUES: THE MOST UNIQUE BYRON WEDDING VENUES OF 2024

Byron Bay is arguably the most beautiful (although I’m very biased) and popular destinations for weddings in the entirety Australia. It’s convenient to get to, yet somehow provides the most beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle with endless stunning beaches, privacy, lush rainforests, and vibrant cultural scene, it's no wonder that you’re considering getting married in this idyllic region.

With this popularity comes a overwhelming choice of wedding venues to sort through. So, instead of jumping from websites, to emails, to scribbles on a note pad, this comprehensive list of wedding venues will organise the chaos for you and your brain! I want you to be immersed into the feel of each wedding venue through photos and videos that I have taken, alongside essential information on capacity, pricing, noise restrictions etc.

I have visited and talked to all of the venues so that you don’t have to!

So that’s what this is - a list of the top wedding venues in Byron Bay to help you find the perfect location for your special day.

The Top Wedding Venues in Byron Bay for 2024:

The Earth House

Location: 334 James Gibson Road, Corndale, NSW, 2480
25 minutes from Byron Bay, 10 minutes from Bangalow

Nestled away privately in the Byron Bay Hinterland, The Earth House is one of those wedding venues of your Byron wedding dreams. Family owned and built, this mediterranean-inspired venue was constructed intentionally with elements of earth. The entire space and property will leave you feeling calm with its natural textures, colours and class, providing an elegant canvas for your wedding day that can be both dressed up or left as is.

If you’re a couple that loves lush landscapes and spaces infused with nature, then this venue will be up your alley. It's the best of all worlds. The giant 100 year old fig tree that envelopes a large open space overlooking grazing cows and the misty rolling hills of the Byron Bay hinterland epitomises many elements that make this region a world-class travel and wedding destination.

At Earth House, you will be working alongside a very approachable, gentle and professional venue manager, Munro.
He will provide you with endless support to make your vision come true whilst making sure your day flows by seamlessly.

I am all for choosing a wedding venue with an environment that reflects qualities of your relationship as this will further bring your love story to life. And as a photographer, I can confidently say with there being so many unique backdrops to switch between, there is a corner for every mood in this property.

An added bonus is that you can also book onsite accommodation - that way the day after your wedding, you can take another final moment to soak up the beautiful misty rolling hills and bird songs that flow just outside your room's doorstep.

Byron View Farm

Location: 194 St Helena Road, McLeods Schoot, NSW, 2479
14 minutes from Byron Bay.

Byron View Farm is MY FAVOURITE wedding venue, I mean… that’s why it’s number one. It’s the almost 360 degree views that have one my heart (especially as a photographer and local). It encapsulates so much of what Byron has to offer - endless views both of the bay and ocean coastlines, the iconic rugged mountainous coastline and again, the iconic hinterland. It’s everything that I love about living here (minus the waterfalls) encapsulated in one hilltop venue.

It also has its own alpacas…

On top of it’s views are it’s intimate scenery - the cottage (where you can stay) and gardens at Byron View Farm maintain it’s standard of beauty and timelessness.

There are three different ceremony spots to choose from depending on your favourite view. You can wine and dine under the stars for your reception or enjoy the intimate setting of the cottage verandah.

One night of accomodation in the gorgeous cottage is included for the night of your wedding (trust me when I say, you will want to wake up here on the day after your wedding).

Did I mention, BYO drinks? And a rainforest tree is planted in honour of your marriage.

Immerse Yourself:

Curfew and Noise Restrictions: Music must be off at 10pm and guests must depart by 10:30pm. Drums and wind instruments and bands larger than two pieces are not permitted.

Victoria’s At Ewingsdale is graced with stunning Tuscan and Fresh Colonial Inspired Architecture which bursts of romance and elegance. If you’re travelling from afar, you and your guests will be sorted with luxury accomodation in the complete privacy of your own wedding space.

Victoria’s takes me back to walking through the most beautiful quaint streets in Europe.

Bring in a grand piano and have your first dance under the milky way – Victoria’s Estate is your oyster!

Nestled among a winding macadamia orchard, The Orchard Estate offers magnificent views that will please your Hinterland wedding dreams. Unlike other venues, The Orchard Estate has industrial feel infused with it’s surrounding natural elements. The monotone space offers plenty of opportunity for pops of colour and individualisation in it’s styling. You and your partner may choose to wed yourselves amongst the macadamia orchard in front of a beautiful majestic tree (see my image below), or out on the grass overlooking the rolling hills.
